Susan Thorner, MHSA
Founder & Principal
Ms. Thorner is a consultant with over 25 years experience. Susan has extensive knowledge and experience with public entities including state and local health departments, state university systems and look-alike (LAL) health centers. Susan has conducted more than 500 operational, diagnostic and technical assistance site visits and quality management assessments/reviews as a consultant and team leader for Federally Qualified Health Centers, Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Parts A,C, D and the AIDS Education and Training Centers (AETCs).
Ms. Thorner earned her B.A. in Health Services Administration with a specialization in Health Education as well as her Masters in Health Services Administration with a specialization in Sex Education from Antioch College/West in San Francisco. She has designed and delivered workshops and seminars on quality management, grantwriting, patient education and decision-making, building strategic partnerships, developing and sustaining consumer involvement, presentation skills, risk assessment/risk reduction, working effectively with gay, lesbian and bisexual patients and more.
